Friday Playlist: Volume Eleven - Playlist + BONUS

Friday Playlist: Volume 11 - Playlist + BONUS

Surprisingly enough, there was actual a lot of good indie rock releases this week.  I feel like they're usually spread out with just one or two a week but a couple of really good artists dropped some new material this week.  Wolfmother came out with their new forth album, Victorious.  My favorite track "Pretty Peggy" is included below but there were 3 or 4 that I was thinking about adding on my first listen through the whole album.

The rest of the playlist is made up of mostly singles from English singer/wongwriter Jake Bugg, the British Indie Rock Band Catfish and the Bottlemen (Ignore the name, just listen to the music), the Scottish Indie Rock Band Frightened Rabbit (playing in New Haven in May), and Lancaster's own Lake Komo.

After the Europeans, we have some American Indie Rock Bands with Bear Hands (playing in Hartford at the end of March with Foals, Cage the Elephant, and Silversun Pickups), Bronze Radio Return (formed in Hartford), Hey Marseilles, a more Indie Pop than Rock Band from Seattle, School of Seven Bells (also abbreviated to SVIIB) from NYC with some Electronic Pop, and Foreign Air.
