PC Loses at Marquette 75-66 and it Looks Like its Going To Be Tough to Win on the Road in the Big East

I wasn't able to catch most of this game because of the shitty slow-moving traffic with the snow and the fact that my computer hates me and wouldn't let me watch online.  But from what I did catch, it was turnovers that killed the beast.

Kris Dunn almost had another triple-double with 11 points and 8 assists.  Unfortunately, the third category was his 8 turnovers.  When Dunn turns the ball over that much (like he previously did against Kentucky), it's very hard for the Friars to win.

Henton continued his high-scoring ways en route to 28 points on an impressive 6 of 12 from downtown.  Cartwright was completely useless in 18 minutes.  His stat line shows it a little better though: 0 points, 0 assists, 4 turnovers, 3 fouls.  You can't have that little production if you're going to be playing close to 20 minutes in a game.

It looks like it's going to be fucking hard to win against anybody on the road this year in the Big East conference.  In addition to Providence losing at Marquette, #6 Villanova lost at Seton Hall, and Xavier lost at Depual.  Shit.  Nothing is going to come easy this year with how deep the league is.  As of Joe Lunardi's last rankings, 7 of the 10 teams from the Big East were on their way to making the tournament.

Next Up, the Friars travel over to Butler on Tuedays at (God Damn) 9 PM.
