It's about time The Lumineers have some new material, right? I saw them three times in concert (at The Governor's Ball, at Terminal 5 in NYC, and at the Newport Folk Festival) and each time the set was basically identical, save for one different cover song. It's hard to play a lot of different songs when you only have an album and most of the songs on it are pretty short.
Here's my recap of their concert at Terminal 5.
With the addition of Visions of China, I believe they now have 2 "new" songs and also have a cover of This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody), which is one of my all-time favorite songs, on Spotify. You can take a listen here (skip to 1:10):
Here is their other Untitled New Song that is a duet between lead singer Wesley Shultz and fellow band member and cello player Neyla Pekarek.
They need to keep churning out this new material so they don't fall by the wayside to some other folk artists who are starting to get more attention.
