#21 UConn 68 (21-5) - Temple Owls 55 (7-18)
This game was a lot closer than it should have been as UConn struggled to knock down open shots early in the contest. Once the Huskies got going, the game was never really in question. The Huskies are just a far superior team than Temple this year, who has been struggling to get wins all season.
Napier came close to a triple-double with 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Brimah had one of his best games of the season. You can see flashes of a very good player that he can grow into while he is given the chance to mature at Connecticut.
The Huskies may have been looking past this game but in the end it didn't really matter against a Temple team of this quality.
On to the next one.
Up Next, the Huskies try the avenge their early season loss to Larry Brown's re-vitalized SMU team at 2 PM @ Gampel.
