Roscoe Smith Leads the Nation in Rebounding? Hold On, Say That Again?!?

My brother tweeted this out the other day and I couldn't believe it when I read it.  Roscoe Smith leads the God Damn NATION in rebounding.  He was always a pretty decent rebounder when he was with the Huskies but they had Oriakhi at the time, so he didn't need to crash the boards as much as he might since he transferred to UNLV.

He leads the nation in boards by a pretty decent margin too.

That more than a half rebound more than the next guy per game.  Now let's take a look at UConn's stats and see if they could use a guy grabbing boards like Roscoe.

Our leading rebounder is Shabazz...our freaking point guard...and he gets less than half of the rebounds per game that Roscoe does.  Do you think the Huskies could use Roscoe right now?  The three big men that play for the Huskies are 5th, 7th, and 10th on the team in rebounding.  Or, since I can't put it any better than my little brother did...

And, since you can't have any article about Roscoe without his infamous last second shot against Texas with like 10 seconds it is.
